Oncology Center

       The Centerdept. is an important center of oncology treatment, research and education. It is also the national good clinical practice (GCP) center, Sichuan Provincial standardized training base of oncology residents, and the demonstration ward of standardized treatment for cancer pain. It is a tumor multidisciplinary treatment unit of radiotherapy, chemotherapy, biological therapy and molecular targeted therapy.

       The Centerdept. has 106 beds and 86 staff members, including 9 PhDs, 22 Masters, 43 Bachelors, 12 College graduates. We treat all common and rare cancers. We provide coordinated care clinics to provide guidances for patients and family members.  

       In addition to immune therapy center that is under construction, we have the first TrueBeam radiotherapy system in southwest China. TrueBeam is a new system designed for rapid and precise treatment of tumors, including breathing and movement for patients with cancer treatment. This system give us an advantage in fighting cancer and overcoming tumors with the latest technologies, such as Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Image-Guidance Radiation Therapy(IGRT) & Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT).

       The Centerdept. regularly conducts international and domestic exchanges and cooperation. Our staffs undertake several research projects and have published more than 10 SCI papers as the first or corresponding authors. The oncologists have extensive knowledge and dedicated themselves to one specific cancer. We make great efforts to provide you with individualized diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and follow-up care.
